About the Course

Anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 who wishes to operate certain vessels on the public waterways of Texas. See Water Safety Act for details. Boating courses are taught by TPWD Boater Education certified instructors, US Coast Guard Auxiliary and game wardens. With more and more people enjoying the lakes and rivers every year, it's important, for everyone, that boaters educate themselves on boating skills and seamanship. Class is being provided by USCG Auxiliary, Flotilla 081-05-07, Belton and Stillhouse Lake, These Instructors have over 100yrs of boating experience. We ask all who sign up to follow Covid-19 protocols and provide your own mask at this time. The class is being provided in Fellowship Hall of the Methodist Church, tables and chairs are set up to allow for safety. We can only accommodate 10 students with safe distancing. Our Safety is also an issue so we are counting on your own policing. Cost for class is $25.00 Cash or Check made out to USCGA Flotilla 05-07
