About the Course
Anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 who wishes to operate certain vessels on the public waterways of Texas. See Water Safety Act for details. Boating courses are taught by TPWD Boater Education certified instructors, US Coast Guard Auxiliary and game wardens. With more and more people enjoying the lakes and rivers every year, it's important, for everyone, that boaters educate themselves on boating skills and seamanship. This class is closed. This is a face to face course.
This course cost $5.00. Please bring small bills. All materials are free.
We will adhere to CDC, Texas Health System and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department protocols because of
COVID-19.
Because of COVID-19 we will not leave the property, there are no vending machines.
Please Brown Bag Lunch. There is a space to have lunch out of doors.
