About the Course

Anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 who wishes to operate certain vessels on the public waterways of Texas. See Water Safety Act for details. Boating courses are taught by TPWD Boater Education certified instructors, US Coast Guard Auxiliary and game wardens. With more and more people enjoying the lakes and rivers every year, it's important, for everyone, that boaters educate themselves on boating skills and seamanship. With more and more people enjoying the lakes and rivers every year, it's important, for everyone, that boaters educate themselves on boating skills and seamanship. This class is taught by USCG AUX / Texas Boating Instructors.  This course can be added to Army Military promotion packages. The cost is $15 Active Military and Civilian $20.00 per person.  A deal considering a discount will apply on most major insurances. We can only accept Cash currency.     IMPORTANT:
  • The class will take place within the boundaries of a federal military installation.   Weapons are prohibited in these facilities except for Law Enforcement and Department of the Army Security Guards personnel while performing their duties. Firearms Registration :: U.S Army Fort Hood
  • The closest fast-food facilities are located 10 miles away in Belton.  Plan accordingly!
