About the Course

Anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 who wishes to operate certain vessels on the public waterways of Texas. See Water Safety Act for details. Boating courses are taught by TPWD Boater Education certified instructors, US Coast Guard Auxiliary and game wardens. With more and more people enjoying the lakes and rivers every year, it's important, for everyone, that boaters educate themselves on boating skills and seamanship. Course Cost: $26.00 ($21 for active military).  We gladly accept Cash, VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX.  No ATM or food in the area.   So plan accordingly.    Course is within the Fort Cavazos military installation.   FIREARMS PROHIBITED AS PER MILITARY REGULATIONS    Course is taught by TPWD/USCG-AUX Instructors
