About the Course
Anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 who wishes to operate certain vessels on the public waterways of Texas. See Water Safety Act for details. Boating courses are taught by TPWD Boater Education certified instructors, US Coast Guard Auxiliary and game wardens. With more and more people enjoying the lakes and rivers every year, it's important, for everyone, that boaters educate themselves on boating skills and seamanship. Fee - $25.00 each
Three (3) hour "On the water familiarization" Course is available Sunday, July 19, 2020 or by weekend Appointment . You will be on the water and demonstrate the skills you learned in the classroom setting. Max of Four (4) students per session. (0900-1200) and (1300-1600). Fee - $75.00 each (Signed Release of Liability Statement required.) OTW Familiarization Course if not required for Certification but highly recommended.
