Next Hunter Education Class July 11 2026. 0900-1600 During the Midland Gun & Blade Show at the Horseshoe Pavilion. I look forward to helping you earn your certificate and joining the great outdoors and the tradition of hunting. It will be a full day of classroom instruction along with some hands-on drills. If you didn't already know this class is good in all 50 states and most countries that require Hunter Education. There is a 50-question test at the end. It's an open book test; you may use the notes that you take during the course. So bring a pencil and paper for notes. Parents, unless you're signed up for the course, I prefer that you drop your student off and come back to drop-off lunch and pick up after the test When you arrive at the Midland Horseshoe, please make yourself known to the staff and they will direct you to the classroom and your day of fun.   Please respect the staff of the Silver Spur Gun and Blade Show, if you plan on going into the Gun Show please pay at the door. Miss Kim pays for all the fees of the Hunter Education Course and is a huge advocate of Hunting and the Outdoors. If you have a chance, please thank her for her kindness. Lunch, I don’t stop for lunch, please bring snacks and drinks and a bagged lunch. You can eat and drink during the class. If I stop for lunch, I will have to add on to the mandatory 6hr class. We do take 10-minute breaks every hour. Also food trucks out front. Please get a good night's sleep. Pete Warsaw
