This TPWD Hunters education course will start at 830 am on Oct 20th At The Church building of Living Hope the Church in the Field, located at 329 fm 3046 Copperas cove Tx. ( Google will sometimes locate the church in a field at the east end of 3046. It is actually on the west end close to 2657. The old Atkinsin Electric Bldg.) The course will consist of approx 3 1/2 to 4 hours of classroom instruction, the TPWD required 50 question test and then we will do the skills trail walk, learning and practicing learned skills from class. Dress appropriately for weather conditions and out doors acticities. No shorts or open toed shoes. The trail will be in a pasture next door to the church. Around lunch time we will usually ask a volunteer parent to make a pizza run using monies collected from those wishing to eat. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snaks or lunch as well. I do not require parents to stay for classroom portion as long as thier kids are wel behaved and non disruptive. I recommend a parent be present for the field portion when we walk the skills trail in case of any emergencys or injurys. The total walk distance is about .75 to 1 mile walk on easy terrain. There are no added fees. the total class fee is 15.00 due at the start of class. Please try and have exact change. If there are any questions please feel free to call me at 254-371-4252.
