Adding a Course Location
Create locations for your courses. Your locations will be available for selection when you create a course (see Adding Live Lesson Information). Locations indicate the name, address, and special instructions for where your courses will be held. Map links, added automatically, help students find your location.
- Go to Courses and select Add Course Location from the left menu.
- Enter a Title for your location.
- Enter the street address, city, state, and zip code for your location.
- For Map Link, you can do one of two things:
- leave this blank. The system will automatically add a Google Map link when you Publish your location. This map will appear on the Class Detail page.
- Add your own map link, from Google Maps or another mapping service. Occasionally a location does not appear accurately on Google Maps by default.
- Add any notes—for example, special instructions about landmarks, parking, or entrances—in the Notes field.
- Publish your location.
Your location will now be available when you create a Course. It will appear in the Location drop-down under Live Lesson Information. You can edit your locations by going to Courses and selecting Course Locations. Then select the location you want to modify, edit the details as needed, and Update to publish the changes.
